When the transfer window closed, there was hope Juventus had assembled a competitive squad. So far, however, too few players have taken responsibility when the team comes under pressure.
Ambrosini questions Juventus’ mentality
The situation is a growing concern, with Juventus needing to find a way out of their poor run. Their problems may extend beyond tactics and coaching, as the squad also needs players with the personality to respond when results go against them.
Former midfielder Massimo Ambrosini has offered his assessment, arguing that Juventus lack the cohesion and character required to turn their season around. Speaking via Calciomercato, he said:
” I see a group in difficulty. They are not yet cohesive and give the impression of not having the personality necessary to try to get out of a difficult situation . Juventus are missing many players and in these cases you need something more: in the first half in Lecce you saw it, today not.”

Spalletti needs a stronger response
Ambrosini’s comments underline the challenge facing Spalletti. The manager must make his players work together more effectively while dealing with the absences that have affected his selection options.
Juventus cannot afford to remain in this situation much longer. They need greater unity, leadership and consistency on the pitch to improve their results and restore confidence. Spalletti can guide that process, but the response must come from the squad itself.
